TS Renovations Receives Two Awards at the 2026 Better Homes Awards

The Spruce Recognized for Best ADU & Best Outdoor Feature

TS Renovations is proud to announce that The Spruce received two awards at the 2026 Better Homes Awards, presented by the Vermont Builders & Remodelers Association (VBRA): Best ADU and Best Outdoor Feature.

Located in Milton, Vermont, The Spruce is a 900-square-foot accessory dwelling unit designed to deliver a distinctive living experience within a smaller footprint. The project brings together architecture, interiors, and landscape through considered proportions, carefully selected materials, and a cohesive design that extends from the residence into its outdoor spaces. The intention was to make the most of every element of the property.

The Spruce brought together the design direction of Kelly Sears and the construction expertise of Taylor Sears, owners of TS Renovations. Kelly shaped the architectural character, interiors, materials, and finishes, while Taylor oversaw construction alongside the company's crew and skilled trade partners.

Recognition in both categories is especially meaningful, honoring the project as a whole and the people who brought it to life.
