Our Story
Where It Started
TS Renovations was founded by Taylor Sears in 2006, and today he and Kelly lead it along with the team they’ve built. Taylor grew up in East Hampton, Connecticut, and Kelly in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We both found our way to Vermont in 2017, drawn here by family, and it’s been home ever since.
We take this work personally, every home, every client, every detail, because our name is on it. What we’re after is simple: a home, and an experience, that exceeds what you expected.
We genuinely love what we do, and not only the finished space. We love the people we meet, the ideas they bring us, and the relationships that tend to outlast the projects themselves.
Clients become friends. Friends become referrals. The work keeps finding its way to the next family with something they’ve been imagining.
Family is at the center of everything for us, and we bring that same care to your home.
We hold ourselves to a high standard because we care how it turns out. So does the crew we hand-pick to build alongside us. They’re a real part of this, and they take as much pride in the work as we do.

Where We’re Headed
We don’t sit still, on the clock or off.
Off the clock, you’ll find us fishing, cooking, traveling, or outside with our three dogs.
On the clock, the company keeps growing, carefully and on purpose. That growth is heading into custom homes and whatever comes next. We’re always chasing a higher bar for the people we build for, and the people who put in the work with us.
Vermont is home, and we’re here for the long run.
